Gold Coast Catering was started in 2016 by Executive Chef and Orange County local, Shahen Mouradyan. We pride ourselves in using only the best available ingredients to make fine dining quality food for your event. We make everything from scratch, fresh every day. Our service is unmatched, because we are extremely proud of what we do and our goal is to make you, our client, be as happy as possible. Our slogan is "Orange County's Gold Standard Caterer", and we take those words very seriously and strive for perfection every day.
Chef Shahen is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts. He holds a degree in Culinary Arts as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He started his career in 2003 working in some of Orange County's best restaurants. He then discovered catering by accident, and before starting Gold Coat Catering, was the Executive Chef for a few of the best catering companies in Orange County. His high standards from his fine dining roots and event experience in catering plus his talented and creative cooking skills are some of the characteristics that have made him the successful chef he is today.
He has traveled all over Europe, tasting some of the best foods in the world. His love for travel and food show on our ever changing menus. With over 3,000 events under his belt, you can be confident with him leading his team at your event.
Chef Shahen grew up in Newport Beach. On his free time he enjoys watching Lakers basketball games and traveling.
